Thanks, RubyShooZ. I hear you loud and clear. And btw...I have a friend who had inoperable breast cancer about 15 years ago and she's still going strong. Another friend with a 3-moth-to-live sentence for brain cancer - that was 8 years ago - and he's going strong. More power to you! Hugs from Brooklyn.

Those are good questions, totaltransformation. I'd love to hear the answers. It seems politicians are often advised to let others do their dirty work during elections - like Cheney did for Bush then and ever since - but it's just making Edwards look like he's ducking the hard stuff. And then he gets feisty during the debates when we're all watching, but it just doesn't quiet ring true. It makes me sad because I was a supporter.

Is she doing his dirty work because she can play the sympathy card- i.e. cancer card? Why isn't he confronting Coulter? Why isn't he talking about Hillary and Obama?

I'm with you. I hadn't heard her comments until I read them here but my very first thought was geez, how much sympathy are we supposed to have for you Ms.Edwards and your wannabe president husband?

I've got breast cancer too but I don't go around parading the fact. Yeah, I know, people might get on my case and start saying how wonderful she is for "getting the word out" but I've seen it as a play for sympathy all along. (Just my view, sorry)
