This is timely for me Ronnie Ann. I know you’re still on break, but I appreciate your doing some research for me! I’m about to set up a blog for an org. I work for, and it’s not about ads with them, but flash and addins and things. I’ll be very curious to know how you like BlueHost, as I’m thinking of using them, too. Holding hands with WP might not be a bad thing if they support each other well. Good luck, courageous you!

LOL This was a great read. I tried Blogger last year and found it so…blah…after being at WordPress. I guess for a “free” system, it’s not so bad after all.

I’ve been shocked at the problems people had with the new version! Other than just trying to figure out what my dashboard was doing, I didn’t have a single issue. I wonder if it has to do with which template one uses?

Either way, I think your WORK COACH site ROCKS, Ronnie Ann! I can definitely see how it might be tricky to go commercial or not..but you know, I have full faith in your ability to make the right decision.

Awww! Thanks for the offer. I may have to take you up on it! Don’t know how good Blue Host is, but they have an easy WP 2.5 download available and 24/7 phone support – plus free domain registration fees as long as you stay with them. Not a bad deal for the price I think. We’ll see. I’m still looking at TypePad because I like the look of the 3-column theme I’m testing. Haven’t found one on WP yet that works as well. but I’m looking hard!!!

I’ll come to Brooklyn and hold your hand but I dunno about BlueHost –

I’m sure you’ve read reviews via Google on many hosts, (including BlueHost and I’ve seen some good, some bad but I think that some of the wordpress.org folks are holding hands so to speak with bluehost.

I’d become an affiliate with our host but I’m not REALLY loving them, I’m just used to the sort of cPanel they have. If you have questions, please, you know where to find me.
